Nickle Dickle Day

Nickle Dickle Day is the Waconia Chamber's downtown festival, held since 1961 on the second Saturday after Labor Day at City Square Park, 8am to 5pm. The Chamber says it draws about 30,000 people. The 2026 program included a car show, duck races, a 10K and 5K, an arts and crafts fair, a book sale and 3-on-3 basketball. The night before, Nickle Dickle Eve brings a street dance to City Lot #1 at 1st and Vine Streets: $10, 21 and over, with the band playing 8 to 11:30pm.
